Rainy Holidays

There is a saying that goes something like this.  "You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle these three things: Lost luggage, tangled Christmas lights and rainy holidays."  As you can see from the picture, we bore up pretty well.

We decided to go to the Air Show.  We are usually over prepared for any excursion that we take but for some reason, I didn't believe the weather man when he said it would be cold and rainy.  So we ended up running to the car (parked a mile or so away) in a DOWNPOUR!  What we saw of the air show was very cool.  We plan on going again.  Next time I will not only check the weather, I'll believe it And be prepared for it!  (Notice the DARK clouds)

New Members of the (motorcycle) Family

We have a few new members in the family.  The motorcycle family, that is.  Thanks to Clair, now everyone has a bike to ride, in just the right size!  It is so fun to ride and the kids really gain a lot from it.  We cannot thank Clair enough for providing this for our family.
The red Hondas are new.  Clair found a Honda 70 not far from us, so we picked it up.  He found a Honda 100 a few days before, so it was waiting for us when we got there.  Kate graduated from Charley to the 70, and Joe moved up from the Kawasaki 110 to the Honda 100.  The 100 is a lot taller and has a clutch.  Allen and Joe "figured out" that they have the same top speed but the 100 is faster off the start (because of the clutch).  Ali is loving having Charley all to herself.  I had to remind her to slow it down a little.  The only dilema now is what to name them (Kate is working on it).

Mini Vans, who know?!
